Euless is a city in Tarrant County, Texas with a total area of 16.3 square miles. Euless is named after Elisha Adam Euless, a native of Tennessee who moved to Texas in 1867 and later bought 170 acres of land on the current intersection of North Main St. and West Euless Boulevard.
Arbor Daze is a celebration of trees. It is usually held in the municipal complex on the last weekend of April from Saturday to Sunday. During Arbor Daze there is a business tent, an art tent and two concert stages, as well as a kids' tent called Kidz Zone. The Euless park system contains over 7 miles of trails across 10+ parks. These trails vary in width, even up to 8 feet across, using different materials from concrete to crushed limestone depending on the location and topography. Many of these trails connect with the system of sidewalks that crisscross the city. These mixed-use trails can used for biking, walking, jogging and similar activities.
